Ilymix Scarves and Beanies

Hey there ladies!   I am a huge fan of companies that want to provide great quality and service to their customers.  One of these companies that I want to introduce you to today is Ilymix.  They are an accessories company out of China that I have recently had the pleasure of collaborating with.  I will never collaborate with a company or brand that I do not believe in or like their products.  I tested this one out before I would agree to do the collaboration.  I have to say I really like the products and the ordering process was quick and easy.   I can’t tell you how great it is over long term yet but so far so good.  Keep reading to find out more about the products and some cute facts about Ilymix.

Ilymix began in 2015 in China and is owned by a husband and wife team that started the company after they finished college.  You should read their entire story here to see how they got started and where they are today.  It is very interesting and shows their desire to make a great product and run a successful business.  They were focused on producing quality products so they pursued different manufacturing facilities to find one that could create the quality and quantities they desired.  They overcame odds and after a couple of years are on track to growing their company.  They ship, FOR FREE, to the US and Europe.

I ordered my scarves and beanie on November 22nd and finally received them this week.  It took a few weeks to get them since they ship from China but I expected that when I placed my order. Everything was protected with plastic wrap when it arrived in the USPS envelope. The scarves came rolled up with an Ilymix label tied around them with some raffia string, which was so adorable. (see picture below)  They included a cute Thank You note with a discount to apply to my next order and another card with some cute quotes on it.  I love it when companies make the packaging cute and personalized.

I am in love with my new scarves and beanie!  The scarves are knit together tightly to ensure they will not fall apart and super soft to the touch.  The beanie, to my surprise, is lined with fleece on the inside! The website did not tell me this so I figured it was your normal knit beanie. The fact that it is lined with fleece made me love it even more.  It makes the inside of the hat so soft and warm.  I don’t know about you but other knit beanies have a tendency to itch my head and this one does not!  I also adore the little furry pom pom on the top.  These will be my go to accessories for the season.

Ilymix has over 50 different scarves in their collection.  The two shapes they offer are blanket or oblong.  I purchased one of each.  The blanket scarf is worn by folding it into a triangle shape and taking the two long ends and wrapping it once around the neck.  This is a bulky scarf so make sure you don’t overdo your other accessories with it.  A simple stud earring and this scarf are plenty.  I paired it with my pink denim jacket and some jeans to make the scarf the focal point of my outfit.  This lovely green color is so on trend this fall.  Also, I have not seen this color in many scarves so it would be a great choice to add to your fall wardrobe.

The pink and gray plaid oblong scarf I have to say is now my favorite everyday scarf.  When my jacket goes on it goes on with it! I love the colors and the fringe tassels at the end.  It makes me feel girly and keeps my neck warm.  I have been wearing it around my neck and allowing the ends to stay long down the front. I will probably loop it once more around my neck when winter gets here.
